Viking Ship Model Kits

Viking ships originated during the Viking age, which was 790 CE – 1100 CE. Used in Scandinavia primarily to transport goods for trading, and transportation for warfare.  Vikings were fierce groups armed with all sorts of weapons, as they would battle other other clans for land, goods and of course treasure! Viking ships were build in all shapes and sizes, but with extremely intricate designs which made it more efficient to cart goods and possessions to new lands. The most famous ship the ‘Gokstad Ship’ which was a bow shaped vessel making it easier for rough seas and difficult weather. Roaming the seas fiercely carrying 34 men ready for battle!
